The Wall & The Window - The Years EP

Seeing the bandcamp link to The Wall & The Window’s  The Years EP posted to Common Folk Music’s Facebook wall was a sweet surprise. On The Years, songwriters Adam Mormolstein and Kristen Hotschlag have created an absolutely lovely collection of harmonious and melodious folk-pop songs.  Like master craftsmen, these songwriters build layers of  melancholy and sweet onto an already strong foundation of good writing to create something complex and wonderful. Recorded on a 4-track cassette tape, this short EP is simple, honest and unpretentious and I can’t wait to hear what they create on their full-length debut.
