Nebraska is where it’s at for some great corn-fed music. Native band, Triggertown is where it all started for alt-country band Kill County. Their old timey stringband pickin’ and grinnin’ is the perfect kind of music for a fun, late night barn-dance. Recorded as their last album together, it marks a directional split between bands. Whereas Kill County’s The Year of Getting By is dark and brooding, Triggertown’s self-titled album and style is lighter and a little more lively. It’s also available to download for free on bandcamp.
