I’m not one to post Christmas songs, but I will make an exception and post “Silent Night (in Edmonton)” from one of my favorite folk singer-songwriters, Tyler Butler. His revised rendition of the classic carol is apropos for the Edmonton resident. Alone with his guitar, Tyler quietly serenades you into a state of “heavenly peace.” In my opinion, there is no better way to spend a cold, snowy holiday eve than with the Winter King and a glass of red wine. And, after you listen to Tyler, make sure you listen to Tamarack’s track, too. These song and 23 others are included on Another OLD UGLY Christmas, an indie/folk collaboration from the good folks at OLD UGLY Recording Co. Go, download it for name your own price. It’s their awesome Christmas gift to you this holiday season.
